Wildflower Hive: Post Brood Blend 10

Notes from Wildflower.
This next blend of Hive is is brimming with propolis flavours. This blend comes from hives in the Blue Mountains which tend to lend a more piney character to these beers. We made this blend with super-fresh comb (and have done the same for #11 and #12 which are in production now) meaning that the comb went from hive, to apiary for extraction and to us under beer as quickly as possible. We found last year that leaving time between these steps gave some room for risk in the refermentations we did not want to open ourselves up to. I really like the results so far and its nice working with material that is as close as harvesting.
