Notes from the maker, Bridget:
2024 was an ideal vintage in Mount Gambier, mild, dry weather during most of the growing season, punctuated by a few hotter days to allow for perfect ripeness and expression of fruit. Bright gooseberry, green mango and orange blossom notes on the nose, that then open up to wet slate and a nuanced bread and butter character. The acid and effervescence on the palate is tingling, with a grippy backbone of balanced phenolics. Tart apple and yellow grapefruit characters on the front palate, which then lead into a honey, savoury character with hints of biscuit with a long finish.
