Samantha May 2023 Rizzo

Notes from Samantha:
Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from ORANGE, NSW. The Rizzo Red is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from Orange. Gentle cool maceration on the Cab Sauv to retain elegance and establish conservative tannins. The Syrah component had just one day of skin contact, drained from skins and then fermented in neutral oak. Both varieties were then blended together before bottling. Lovely lively acidity, elegant blue fruits and the right amount of tannin and juiciness. Native yeast. Unfiltered.
