Nicolas Reau 2022 Indigene Muscadet

Based in Anjou, Loire Valley, and produced from, yes, Muscadet Serve-et-Maine.
From 40-or-so year old vines, farmed organically. Raised in glass-lined vats. Man! Delicious! Pure and fresh but with just enough body to let you know you’re allowed flavour in Muscadet wine. Sea spray and lemon scents, touch of herbal stuff too. Flavours light, clean, lemony, salty, faintly nutty. Nice! Lean and racy, mineral-licked wine. Superb drinking – hang the score.
