We are thrilled to have made our first Chenin Blanc. A grape variety we have loved for a long time. We wanted to make a textural and full flavoured Chenin from the warm flats of Gundgai, NSW. So here they are. Contrary to all advice given we split this parcel into three separate bundles: direct press to stainless steel, two days skins to concrete eggs, ten days skins to oak and flex. Separate ferments, all unassisted. Deep yellow in colour, cream, hazelnut and pebble on the nose. On the palate it's texture through the wazoo, length for days. Full bodied full flavoured unadulterated Chenin Blanc!
