Le Pas Saint Martin 2022 Le Vent dans les Saules

100% Chenin Blanc from shale/gravel soils in Anjou.
Grapes were hand harvested and underwent cold stabilisation and clarification before fermentation at around 18 degrees celcius. Partial malolactic fermentation took place before bottling in February 2023. Striking aromas of honeysuckle and peach blossom, followed by a hint of lime zest and baking spice. The palate has bright and juicy apricot, white peach, and golden pear fruit, along with candied citrus peel.
