30 year old syrah grown on granitic soils near Mt. Alexander. A semi-carbonic 50% whole bunch fermentation followed by elevage in stainless steel Bright and fragrant - violet scented with an abundance of ripe raspberry, cherry, black pepper, olive tapenade and jus gras. I opted for syrah in the nomenclature of this wine as the style is lifted, fragrant and with glossy cool fruits.
