Elodie Balme 2017 Côtes du Rhône Villages Roaix

75% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 5% Mouvedre from 15-70 year old vines on gravel, clay and limestone soils.
Hand picked and fermented by indigenous yeast for approx 20 days before being pressed off to concrete vats for ageing. Very light filtration and tiny amount of sulphur at bottling. Full bodied with notes of spices, garrigue flowers and liquorice. Pleasingly fresh on the palate with supple and generous tannins.
