Crusher Wines 2024 Shadowplay

Notes from Crusher:
Basket-pressed Chardonnay, aged in older oak barriques and topped with Sémillon. More of a true orange wine than anything else we’ve made. golden-hued with driving acidity, it’s flinty but floral and there’s heaps of citrus pith and citrus oil to dance around your mouth. Chilling adds some apricot jam notes and decanting softens the whole experience very nicely and drifts towards that lighter tannic, tea-like mouthfeel.
