Shrubs are also known as "drinking vinegars' and their origin dates way back to 17th century England. They were used to preserve seasonal fruits, like berries, by soaking them in vinegar and sugar until well infused with all the flavour. Mix a 30ml shot into a glass of soda for a tart and sweet soft drink, or get creative with your cocktail.
