Clos du Gravillas 2019 Côtes Obscur The Dark Side

Made every few years, the Dark Side is a 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon planted by winemaker, Nicole, in 2000 and half Carignan from old vines.
The Cabernet was aged in stainless steel and the Carignan in old oak barrels. Very intense and pure red, slightly purplish, aromas of very ripe black fruits between blueberry and blackberry mixed with smoky notes, bay leaf, thyme and violet. Endowed with well-coated tannins and a slight firmness, this wine combines subtlety, depth and concentration... delicious.
