2020 Erba Salata

Colle Florido is situated in Abruzzo, just outside the little town of Pianella, not far from Pescara on the Adriatic coast.
It was established by Andrea Ugolotti and his wife Daniela. Andrea gave up high-end hospitality to reconnect with the land, learn how to farm and to produce some great wines. Erba Salata is the selection of the best Montepulciano fruit, grown in 2 different vineyards. Fermented separately in steel, then blended in old oak. A concentrated style of Montepulciano, with a salty, savoury finish.
