Vinea Marson 2019 Friulano #10
Notes from the winery...
With aromas of green pea, mungbean and a pleasant herbaceousness at first, riper fruits reveal themselves with time in the glass. With the appearance of riper fragrance & spice - pear, quince and a hint of nutmeg, it pays to revisit when the wine grades to room temperature. On the palate the drive of acid is balanced and bright, one of our favourite parts of the Alpine Valleys fruit, offering crisp citrus characters of lemon and blood orange. The phenolics are enticing – a juicy and rich coating around the layers of freshness before leading to a firm, rounded tannin finish. All that you would expect from this delicious and sought after skin contact white.
